Thé Âge of the Heart
How are your hearts today?
For my morning contemplation, some quotes came to me I’d like to share.
So many are grieving right now as we shift from the age of the mind and technology and enter what I call « the age of the heart ».
Do you ever wake up unsettled and think, « Woah. There’s a lot in the air today? » Do You feel deeply and find you are feeling the energetic stuff others. I do often.
I find long walks helpful. Mindful walks with Cookie Jane the Hound clear my mind and get the endorphins pumping. It quite literally lifts my heart.
I also dance every morning. Do you ever feel music so deeply that you say, « uh oh. I feel the music and suddenly you are dancing. »
Nature is everything to me too I highly recommend soaking in Mother Nature’s beauty. I wake up some days and simultaneously think, « what a beautiful, terrible time to be alive! »
How do you balance the paradoxes in your life? What practices help you?
I once worked with special needs clients. They taught me so much about life. Thé simple act of sharing a cup of coffee is an opportunity to celebrate. A meal shared with your favorite human will nourish your entire being. Is mobility an issue? Hills were meant for climbing. Their resilience and ability to adapt has not left me. So many offered hugs and « I love you’s. » Their ability to live from the heart emerged everyday and I’m so thankful for the gift of their presence and ability to be in the moment.
I’ll leave you with a few quotes to nourish you:
« And you will discover that all that makes your tender, open heart feel is what gives you power »-Amy Razeghi
« We are entering the age of the heart »-Amy Razeghi
« Go easy. Walk tenderly on this watery globe. It nourishes us all without need of titles or hierarchy. »
« May you discover lightness and learn to dance with the shadows swirling about your being. This is what it is to be human. »-Amy Razeghi ♥️💫♥️
Be present. Embrace the divine within. You are so loved.
