A Prayer Upon Hearing The Verdict

We got this. When I was younger I thought I had to do it all on my own. I’ve learned it’s ok to lean on one another. Soak in some sun today and the knowledge that you are so loved. This country is built on genocide and slavery of folks deeply rooted in holy, beautiful, ancient, and powerful cultures.

Some days I use my gifts to lighten another’s load. Maybe that’s why this all comes through me. Maybe it’s Universe saying, you knew as a child how beautiful and powerful black and brown folks are. Stand together now.

May we be seen for the luminous light of our souls.

How ever you are today in your being. You are loved. You don’t have to earn this love. You ARE love.

If you find yourself in holy rage, you are a human paying attention.

If you find yourself weeping, May the tears cleanse away the toxins and pain from your cells.

If you find yourself laughing, May you know no one can have your joy.

If you find yourself without language, pay attention.

If you find yourself afraid, know you are divinely held.

This is the Age of the Heart.

Everyday we choose.

You are not alone. ♥️

Word. Amen.
